Small friends, big feelings

Sauce & Gurt is a rhyming picture book about a dollop of applesauce and a swirl of yogurt who were quite sure they knew their purpose — to be someone’s breakfast. When that plan goes sideways, they tumble off the highchair and into a great big world to figure out who they’re meant to be.

It’s a gentle, funny story about change, and finding out your future is wider than you thought — the kind of thing worth hearing again at the tenth bedtime in a row.
